Our last camping trip was a last minute getaway. It was hard to find RV spots available here in the Pacific Northwest and I finally found an open spot on a lake we have never been to. I saw the amenities and it said fishing and swimming so that was perfect. Anthony invited a friend and we imagined a weekend of lake swimming. We arrived, parked the RV and set up. The boys anxiously waited to swim and we finally walked down to the lake area. Something was missing!
There was no shore. The sign read that they could dock jump IF no one was fishing and there were 3 men fishing off the dock. We did find an end of the dock they could jump-near the boat rental area so that water was anything but clean and then to get back to the dock there was a ladder from the water. But, my son spotted a spider on the ladder and that was the end to him climbing up a dock again. I quickly realized….there are some camping trips that just need toys! I wish I had these suggested toys that are great for camping fun available.
