Swiss Diamond XD 2 PIECE SET: FRY PAN DUO

I want to start off by saying that I was sent this pan set for Father’s Day features, but once it arrived and I used it I realized it deserves more than just 1 mention for 1 holiday! I fell in love with these pans and so did my husband and we quickly realized how many people and foodies we know would love this brand! Swiss Diamond is so much more than these 2 pans, so I will tell you how to connect with the brand and see it all at the end of this post.

I will say that the pans I am tossing (actually donating) weren’t cheap brands. They have been well used and when they were new they looked and felt nothing in quality like my Swiss Diamond XD Coated pans. I have the Swiss Diamond XD 2 Piece Set with a 8″ and 10.25″ fry pans. The XD is their latest and most advanced diamond-reinforced nonstick cookware line to date! In other words, it is so safely nonstick that you need no oils. I haven’t needed any yet and I have made many dishes in my pans.

Leftovers are used often in my home and I can just toss in my leftover pork, some veggies and a sticky sauce like teriyaki and heat up. I add no other oils or coating. You can literally see the sauce slip off them pan when serving so cleaning was as easy as running hot water over the pan and drying!

I cook over gas and the heating is so even. I can say the heating is perfection! The bottom is a brushed stainless steel heat guard. It starts with 3 layers of Swiss Diamond XD nonstick Diamond Coating followed by a layer of plasma coating. The last 2 outer layers are an alloy aluminum layer followed by a magnetic base coating if you have the Induction series (otherwise you end in the aluminum layer). It is oven safe up to 500 degrees. It is technically dishwasher safe, but where you want to be careful is in the dish soaps you use so that those soaps or dishwasher tablets aren’t too abrasive to your cookware.

I was able to make a large batch of stir fry in the 10.25 inch pan. Clean up was a breeze and it was heated through so fast! This is so wonderful when you don’t have time to watch over your food when it wants to cook unevenly or have to keep stirring so it doesn’t stick. None of that is an issue with this line!
