We have Dads and Grads to celebrate right now and I had the pleasure to review a few pairs of fun socks for men and grads from Notes to Self. Whether there is a special man you need to honor or have a grad student that wants to go off to College wearing a conversation piece on their feet or a graduate who is done with college and moving back into your cold basement (just kidding, I hope they are educated and independent at this point), these socks are warm and a lot of fun too!

Who or what is Notes to Self and why are they’re socks different from other socks with words or prints? These socks were created to promote the power of positive thinking. Laura, the founder, loves in Kansas wanted her customers to always have positive reminders at their toes all day long and they are all written in the present tense. Hopefully these simple words on your toes will be a note to yourself to carry a positive attitude and have positive actions.

There are 7 occasions on their website you can shop in from Mother’s and Father’s Day, Teacher Appreciation, Graduation, Wedding, Baby Shower and 4th of July. There are all cuts of socks from infant size to adult. I took a pair camping over Memorial weekend to keep my feet warm at night!

Fun story! 2 years go my husband was sitting on the couch one day and somehow we got on a topic of “If I won the lottery” and he said that he would buy himself “enough socks to wear a brand new pair everyday because nothing feels better than wearing new socks”. Because it was almost his birthday and I really had no gift idea in mind I texted everyone we would be celebrating with in the family and told them to buy lots of socks for work and casual. When his birthday came he had enough socks to wear 1 new pair a day for 2 months! There is not much else that feels better than new socks on your feet and when they make you feel good with positive messages that is a bonus! These socks are made well and are so soft and warm. They really do make great gifts!
