Last weekend we took a Saturday night in Seattle and attended the Harlem Globetrotters event. I call it an event rather than a game because it is more than just basketball. In under 2 hours we watched some fun tricks, a bit of comedy, bought merch, got autographs of my son’s favorite (Hammer) and met a Seattle Seahawks retiree, Cliff Avril who was also attending with his family. Our son had a blast and is cherishing his jersey.
Every Harlem Globetrotters event we have attended always has special guests. Last Saturday it was Cliff Avril and Seattle’s newest Mayor, Bruce Harrell who came onto the court in great spirits. We even discovered a great new Mexican spot in Seattle near the Climate Pledge Arena. It was such a fun night!
