In this story Benji works hard to afford the kite he really wants. This kite can fly higher and faster than any he has owned. After he works and earns the money he takes it out and as he sees it in the sky, he realizes it is in its home. High into the clouds he decides to keep it there. Letting go is more meaningful that possession and that is a main message in this story.
